Thursday, September 9, 2021

Salford Group, a global leader in engineering and manufacturing innovative, high-quality tillage and application equipment, has welcomed Tom Rodgers as a new sales manager. Tom will lead the territory sales managers of the Western United States and also be responsible for focused oversight of sales and marketing in the region. Tom will be joining the team of existing Salford sales managers, including Lee Kilpatrick and Scott Ousdahl.

“We are excited to have Tom join the Salford Group sales leadership team,” says Brad Baker, Salford Group's vice president of sales and marketing. “The breadth and depth of his experience in the industry make Tom a great fit for this challenging and important role. We are confident that he will quickly develop a positive and productive relationship with territory sales managers and dealerships alike."

In addition to his business administration degree in finance from Texas Tech University, Tom brings 28 years of experience in the agricultural industry. His most recent employment at Bridgestone/Firestone (in the company's agricultural tire organization) included leading the development of global business, and managing North America sales and marketing activity. His vast experience in the industry will assist Salford Group in delivering an outstanding customer experience as the company's business presence in North America continues to expand.

Beyond his education and professional experience, Tom has a personal interest and passion for agriculture. He is a fourth-generation landowner in Pike County Illinois and currently serves on the Des Moines ISD Animal Science Advisory Board. He also previously served as an Iowa State 4H Foundation Board Member, and a National FFA Foundation Sponsor's Board Member.
