Kristal Allen, Partner with MLT Aikins and Associates Committee Chair of AMC, will present Brave New World: Legal Issues in Automation.

Faced with an automated future, how do we navigate the challenges and risks presented by smart machines? This session will take the audience through an introduction of the top legal considerations presented by the use of artificial intelligence, robotics and automation in agricultural equipment.

Kristal Allen is a partner with MLT Aikins, and the national lead of the firm's Agriculture and Food practice group. Kristal’s practice focuses on the management, exploitation and commercialization of information and intellectual property assets and new technology.

Kristal has extensive experience in advising innovation-focused organizations in the agriculture, food and technology sectors, including with respect to research consortium arrangements, technology development and commercialization arrangements, intellectual property protection and portfolio management, data protection strategies, and both in- and out-licensing. Kristal was also previously Senior Legal Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer to a large public company with operations around the globe.
