Erron Leafloor and Vetaley Marivtsan to present Fuelling the Future at POWER: AMC's 2023 Annual Convention and Trade Show
AMC is pleased to announce a new speaker session in its lineup for POWER: AMC's Annual Convention and Trade Show.
Erron Leafloor, Versatile, and Vetaley Marivtsan, Cummins, to present Fuelling the Future.
Cummins is excited to be working together with Versatile as we leverage our respective strengths moving forward into new powertrain technologies like hydrogen. This long-time partnership will be highlighted as the presentation will begin with Cummins sharing their path with alternative power solutions with a focus on hydrogen and what it means for Cummins. Versatile will speak on technologies and the concept of hydrogen fuel and how they define tractor and tillage products for the next two generations. The session will end with time for questions to dig deeper into the future of hydrogen.
Hailing from Chernivtsi, Ukraine, Vetaley Marivtsan grew up in Yorkton and Regina before diving into Sociology and Slavic Studies at the University of Saskatchewan.
Kicking off his career in 1996 as a Service Manager at a New Holland dealership, Vetaley later joined Redhead Equipment, serving as a Service Manager in Lloydminster and Saskatoon. In 2004, Cummins Canada became his professional home, where he excelled as a Technical Support Manager (TSM) for Western Canada.
As a TSM, Vetaley focused on market-neutral customer technical support for Cummins Engines across diverse sectors. As a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) consultant, he collaborated with clients to enhance fuel economy, reduce maintenance costs, and optimize uptime. Vetaley also delved into policy management, OEM partnerships, and achieved Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Beyond work, Vetaley is passionate about cycling, golf, and, come this time of year, diving into the excitement of NFL football.
A graduate of Biosystems Engineering at the University of Manitoba, Erron Leafloor has focused his career on farm equipment design and manufacturing with several of Canada's largest ag manufacturers. Currently, Erron is the Manager of the Advanced Engineering Department at Versatile, which is dedicated to researching technologies that will be used in ag tractor design in the 5-15 year timeframe.
Having grown up on a farm in SW Manitoba, Erron has always had a passion for agriculture and agricultural equipment. Outside of his career, this interest has led him to leadership roles at ag-focused institutions like the Manitoba Agricultural Museum, as well as continuing to be actively involved in farming in Manitoba's Red River Valley.
