With the ever-changing global situation currently underway in light of COVID-19, the way many
Canadian companies operate is being impacted.

Several efforts to control and mitigate the spread of the virus are currently in place, resulting in travel restrictions, border restrictions, businesses temporarily closing down, and other measures. This could have further implications on business development activities as the situation continues to evolve.

Many companies and organizations, along with governments, are rising to the occasion and providing
several free resources and supports for businesses during these difficult times.

  • Call to Action for Canadian Manufacturers - If you are a Canadian manufacturer that can assist Canada in meeting the need for medical supplies, and:
    • has ready access to necessary inputs through your supply chain;
    • have equipment or facilities that can be rapidly re-tooled to meet medical needs, including for personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks and surgical gowns; sanitizers; wipes; ventilators; and other medical equipment and supplies;
    • have skilled workers who are able to respond and who could be available for work in the current circumstances
