Philip Horst, Vice President of Wallenstein Equipment Inc., will present Keeping Culture at the Core.

Philip Horst grew up on a farm near Listowel, Ontario and went on to be employed as a machine operator in the farm drainage industry. In 2008 he joined the Precision Ag team at the local John Deere dealership where he was able to combine his knowledge in the water management industry with his passion for GPS technology, hydraulics, and machine control software to serve the drainage contractors in Ontario with solutions that helped them grow and become more efficient in their operations.

In 2018, Philip entered the manufacturing industry when he, along with a business partner, purchased the Wallenstein brand. Today, Philip is an active partner in the business, serving as vice-president and leading the leadership team in a trajectory of growth. Philip and Leona, his wife of 18 years, enjoy life with 5 children at home and live on a rural property near Wallenstein, Ontario.
