The Saskatchewan Government, in its March 18th, 2009 budget, has extended a large incentive to businesses, both small and large, to conduct Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) in the Province of Saskatchewan.

 
DLG and AEM announce long-term alliance
DLG (German Agricultural Society), the organizer of Agritechnica, the world's largest agriculture machinery show, and the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), organizer of the new agricultural trade show AG CONNECT Expo, today announced a long-term alliance. The alliance includes a plan to coordinate show dates that will allow
agriculture producers to attend a major international agriculture trade show each year. The next Agritechnica show will be held November 10-14, 2009 (preview days are November 8-9) at the Fairgrounds in Hanover, Germany. The inaugural AG CONNECT Expo is slated for January 13-15, 2010 (preview day January 12 by special admission) at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

feed sources according to Dr. Paul Jefferson, Vice-President of the Western Beef Development Centre.
“Saskatchewan producers who are starting to cut their hay crops will be disappointed with yields this year,
especially in this region,” says Jefferson. “Hay yields depend on spring weather conditions, and this year’s cold
and dry April through June weather will result in low hay yields.”

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin was speaking at a meeting with executives from agricultural equipment producer Rostselmash on Monday. He said that he was against keeping high duties permanently on imports of agricultural equipment as a means of supporting domestic producers.
